Life with Alzheimer's

Hello Everyone Again, This has been a busy week with the holidays coming up and i have lost a co-worker as well as a resident this week. Not sure what my co-worker passed from but my resident has passed away from Alzheimer's. i would like to know how alzheimers can make you pass away when all i thought its just a disease that you have to live with the rest of your life but it didn't know it slowly takes your life away from. This would be my unit four blog.

    Hello Melissa,

    I think it would be difficult to confirm that the sole cause of death is Alzheimer's. . . but my mother's death was from advanced Alzheimer's. However, she was 89. Did she die from Alzheimer's or old age?
